On Monday afternoon, the US Coast Guard estimated that the Titan may have about 70 to 96 hours of oxygen left. Efforts are focused on locating the submarine and crew, after which an investigation will likely attempt to determine the cause of the incident.Īuthorities, fearing for the lives of the crew aboard, have deployed multiple resources (including sonar buoys and aircraft with underwater detection capabilities) to assist in the search operation. It’s important to note that peripherals play a major role in a person’s gaming experience. While the use of a $30 PC game controller for operations does not inspire confidence in the Titan's construction, the exact cause of the submarine's disappearance is currently unknown. On Monday, Pogue tweeted that during his report last summer about the Titan, the submersible got lost for a few hours as well (while Pogue was on the surface), although he later noted that during his trip, the sub still had contact with the surface, and in this situation, all communications contact with the sub have ceased. This is not the first time the Titan has gotten lost. At one point, Rush holds up a Logitech F710 Wireless controller that appears to have 3D-printed thumb-stick extensions and says, "We run the whole thing with this game controller." Advertisement In particular, people began sharing a CBS Sunday Morning segment broadcast in November 2022 that shows reporter David Pogue visiting the Titan, which he later boarded for an expedition to the Titanic.ĭuring the CBS clip, Rush gives Pogue a tour of the sub, noting the presence of "only one button" in the entire vessel and saying that a sub "should be like an elevator." Pogue also mentions how many pieces of the sub seem improvised, including off-the-shelf computer displays, a lighted overhead grab bar "from Camper World," and using construction pipes as ballast. Ps: almost forgot, GHub failed to import most of my profiles from LGS, it only imported like 10 or so out of two dozen or so. There's a good chance i'll go switch to LGS The only thing i might like more with GHub is how they merged the various macro-features, although i didn't thoroughly test them yet. GHub is form over function imo, they thought more about making it look good than making it a pleasant user experience. With LGS you can easily understand what functions it has and where to find the one's you're looking for at a quick glance, the UI is very clear, not so with GHub it's terrible in that department. Profile handling is also unintuitive and strangely almost hidden away deep in the ui. The GHub interface is needlessly complicated with several features hidden on different pages and while some might appreciate GHub displaying your peripherals more like they really look like i find it just irritating having to switch to a second view to configure all my mouse buttons for example, where in LGS i can set up all keys in one window. LGS works for everything but the flightstick (and sound and headset), but it also can't be remapped via GHub, so. got a G402 mouse, a G213 and a G915 keyboard and an Attack3 Flightstick (also sound system and headset by logitech huh.anyways.). Tried it out, uninstalled, and went back to LGS.ĭecided to try it out a week ago and compared to LGS i fail to see any benefits. It's missing key features that made LGS good. GHub allows you to custom calibrate your mouse by doing a figure 8 on your pad, but it lacks the option to set the mouse to custom calibrate to your proprietary Logitech pad (I use a G440 hard pad, and all I had to do in the LGS was select that preset and I was good to go). This is important for me because I don't want to accidentally tap a DPI shift button while playing a game and suddenly be aiming super fast or super slow. In LGS you can set one DPI and eliminate all other shift points. I didn't see a way to disable the AMOUNT of DPI shift points I wanted in GHub. GHub touts the ability to download and install new lighting animations from users but I saw this nowhere in the UI GHUB is the replacement of Logitech Gaming Software from 2019 and above, and I love it if Logitech Gaming Software goes on forever and there are no more updates. Several keyboard lighting animation loops built into LGS (Bleep Bloop for example, my favorite) are completely missing from G-Hub
